Hello, all! I've recently returned to livejournal from a year and a half hiatus. All the entries from before my hiatus are f-locked, but all new ones will be public.

If you do decide to friend me or if you're currently stalking me, please drop in to let me know who you are and why you've decided to friend me. This will increase the likelihood that I will friend you back exponentially. What this means is that unless I already know exactly who you are, I will not be friending you back. So really, there's no harm done in just commenting here to let me know. I won't bite.

And now, I know you're probably thinking 'why does it matter if she friends me back? All her posts are public; I can stalk her perfectly well without her being my friend.' Well, the answer is simple: if I don't friend you back, you won't see all the embarrasing posts my year-and-a-half-ago self made! Think of all the lulz you'll be missing!

But really, no. Unfortunately, as I was wading through my old posts searching for the those very same lulz, I discovered that my year-and-a-half-ago self was a very dull person indeed. Apparently, I took the internets very srs. (You may still be able to find some humor in my day-to-day ramblings, and some of them are quite embarrassing.)

Not to worry! I shall not be making that mistake again. MOAR LULZ! MORE GIFS!

How do you organize your gifs?

I've been going through my gif folder, and I've found some real gems that I completely forgot I had. I've got about 175ish in my gif folder and that's not including Harry Potter, Glee, or AVPM/AVPS gifs. I don't know what to do with them all!

Just now I've been trying to sort them by emotion, but for most of them it's too hard to put a name to the emotion. It just is. I know when the appropriate time to use that gif is, but I can't label it, you know? I might just have to go for really broad categories or something... Ugh, my OCD can't handle this.

So, yeah, Snooki came to my school, but it was nowhere near as hilarious as I was expecting. It was just barely worth my time. Her answers were obviously rehearsed and she was really late, so the weird comedian who was supposed to interview her had to improvise for like an hour. He sucked. However she did refer to our chapel as a gymnasium, didn't seem to know what the word 'genuine' meant, and got really confused about my school's mascot (which is a Demon Deacon). Highlight of the event and the only reason for which it was worth going was when they got a whole bunch of guys on stage and one of them performed an awkward half-strip tease for her.

And now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

Snooki is coming to my school. Yes, that's right, you heard me. Snooki of fake tan, hair poof and Jersey Shore fame is coming to talk at my school. Some schools get really awesome people, like famous politicians or writers or something (though, tbh we did have John Grisham), but nooo, my school gets a glorified whore.... I'm going, though. It's gonna be too hilarious to miss! I'll make sure to fill you guys in all the lulz this event is bound to cause.

Yeah, so not too much has happened, though I will detail what has happened with a list:

- I made it through the first three semesters of college alive (with a good GPA to boot!) and I've just begun the fourth. It's quite an achievement if I do say so myself.
- I made new friends.
- I was sexiled. I guess you guys know that means? Not fun. One of the reasons I don't really talk to my freshman roommate anymore. It happened way too often.
- I've taken classes with several crazy professors. My philosophy professor likes to call us all creatures and one of my French professors liked to do yoga while sitting on top of her desk.
- I took Astronomy. Most people hated it; I secretly loved it.
- I discovered a series of hidden tunnels under one of the academic buildings.
- I drank too much, and then I threw up everywhere.
- I went to a costume party that turned out not to be a costume party.... Awkward.
- I walked a mile down a fairly large highway in the snow.
- I worked at a golf course over the summer. I met a lot of weird people who play golf with my dad, dogsat, and learned how to clean a George Foreman grill.
- I have had several minor freakouts while trying to plan the course of the rest of my life.
- I am double-majoring in Anthropology and Communication. (I think.)

Nothing really interesting happened, at least not that I can remember anyway. Hopefully I've start getting back in the swing of things here at lj. We'll see.
